Ashgate Hospice is recruiting to PERMANENT FULL TIME & FIXED TERM FULL TIME posts to join our highly skilled multi disciplinary team on our 21 bedded In-Patient ward. We pride ourselves in delivering the highest quality care and compassion to all our patients, relatives and carers. If you are interested in developing your skills in delivering care to people with life limiting illness, then this may be the ideal role for you. Ashgate can offer you the chance to work in specialist palliative care, engage in development opportunities and encourage you to increase your clinical skills. We have a mixture of permanent and fixed term posts available.
REGISTERED NURSES
Band 5
Our expectation is that as a registered nurse you will deliver evidence based specialist nursing care for patients with a life limiting illness, working as part of a multi- disciplinary team. You will be expected to work flexibly, taking part in all rotas including nights and weekends.
HEALTH CARE ASSISTANTS
Band 2
Our expectation is that you will have experience of working in a health care setting and a strong desire to work with patients with life limiting illness. You will be expected to work flexibly, taking part in all rotas including nights and weekends.
Experience within palliative care would be an advantage for both posts.

ESTATES & FACILITIES MANAGER
Band 5 - Full time
£21,388 - £27,901
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Estates & Facilities Manager.
The job holder will manage the Hotel Services teams to provide a high quality and cost effective service. You will also work closely with the Head of Retail & Operations to ensure that the hospice environment is safe for patients, visitors, staff and volunteers.
If you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience of supervising staff and have a good working knowledge and experience of Health and Safety, including risk assessment, this position could be for you.

Can you spare 2 to 4 hours of your time each week?
We have shops in Ashgate, Bakewell, Bolsover, Chesterfield, Clay Cross, Dronfield, Eckington, Staveley, Shirebrook and a Furniture Store and Donation Centre in Hasland.
